The School’s Admission Number for our Reception Class for the school year beginning in 2020-2021 is 45.

If the number of applications exceeds the admission number, the School Committee will give priority to applications in accordance with the criteria listed, provided that the School Committee are made aware of that application before decisions on admissions are made (see Note 1 below).

Over-subscription Criteria

  1. Baptised Catholic children who are looked after or previously looked after.
  2. Baptised Catholic children  living within the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians who have a brother or sister attending Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School at the time of admission.
  3. Baptised Catholic children  of staff of Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School living within Our Lady Help of Christians.
  4. Baptised Catholic children living within the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians.
  5. Other Baptised Catholic children  who have a brother or sister attending Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School at the time of admission.
  6. Other Baptised Catholic children of staff Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School.
  7. Other Baptised Catholic children.
  8. Non—Catholic children who are looked after or previously looked after.
  9. Non-Catholic children who have a brother or sister attending Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School at the time of admission.
  10. Non-Catholic children of staff of Our Lady's Catholic Primary School.
  11. Non-Catholic children.

 

How to apply for a school place

 

Please note: children currently attending Nursery Class must apply for a place in Reception following the above procedure. Having a place at our nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception for September 2020.
