How our children are taught.

Our Lady's Catholic Primary School has a pupil admissions number of 45 children in each year group. This means that in some classes children of more than one year group are taught together, although we do not mix classes across the key stages.​

We offer a wide, varied and creative curriculum using Topic-based teaching and planning, where appropriate. The underlying intent of our curriculum planning are:

Respect, Understanding, Affection and Humour (RUAH)

While these themes run through our planning, there is also a great emphasis on fun!

Throughout the teaching and learning in our school children are encouraged to be independent, learning how to discover things for themselves using creative and logical skills in equal measure.
